Beginnings that shaped the path
Inotherm's beginnings date back to 1991, when Anton and Verica Šenk launched a small production facility in a neighbour's garage making thermal insulation glass, with their office based in their own home. At the time, there was no large production facility and no extensive team – just a clear vision and a strong conviction of what they wanted to create.
As the new millennium approached and the first aluminium front door was developed, their vision was clear:
a door for every home and every family.
The idea was simple: every home deserves a high-quality, tailor-made door designed for the people behind it. Over the past 35 years, this vision has established Inotherm as a leading European manufacturer of aluminium entrance doors.
The continuation of a success story
Today the company is led by Nina Šenk Kosem, who, together with her father, continues the success story as the second generation.

Tribute to Verica Šenk
Verica Šenk was not just the CEO – she was the heart of our company. Together with her husband, Tone, she laid the foundations of Inotherm and, through her warmth, wisdom, integrity and exceptional empathy, shaped the values that continue to define us today.
She had a remarkable ability to connect people, understand their stories and bring ideas to life. Where others saw challenges, she saw opportunities and pursued them with perseverance and passion. Through her selfless generosity, she left a lasting mark on the local community, where she quietly stood by those most in need.
Her legacy is not only written in the company's history, but lives on in its people, in our relationships, and in the values we carry forward every day.

»I remember the production in our neighbour’s garage, where we as children often watched what the workers were doing. When new premises were purchased, we helped clean them and paint the walls. As a student, I worked in glass production, and later I became employed here.
Throughout my time at the company, I have seen continuous growth and development. Over the years, I took on more responsibility, which gave me a sense of progress and personal fulfilment. The trust of the owners and superiors also played a key role. It is precisely this combination that is the reason why I am building my career at Inotherm.«

»When I joined the company, there were around 20 employees, and by the time I retired, there were already 340. This fact alone shows how quickly and successfully Inotherm grew. I experienced the company’s growth as a shared journey – a process in which we were constantly learning, sometimes making mistakes, but never giving up.
We achieved this through determination, dedication and mutual support. I am proud to have worked at Inotherm.«

VOJKO ŠTANFELJ

»We started in a small workshop assembling insulating glass, where I had to familiarise myself with new technology in the field of glass production. Later, we continued with the production of entrance doors and relocated the manufacturing several times. I particularly remember the first door we produced and presented at the trade fair in Nuremberg.
The company’s growth and success were a positive motivation for me, and Inotherm represented a foundation for everyone who wanted to strengthen their work ethic and sense of responsibility. I was also shaped by working under the leadership of the late director Vera Šenk, who was largely responsible for the company’s success and growth.«

WHERE WE ARE TODAY
From our first steps in the 1990s we have grown into a leading European manufacturer. This development is not only reflected in the numbers, but in the progress achieved across key areas that shape both the company and Inotherm's entrance doors today.
At the forefront in Europe
After launching aluminium entrance door production in 1999, we surpassed 10,000 units sold per year in less than a decade, and in 2017 became Europe’s largest manufacturer of aluminium entrance doors.
Integrated entrance solutions
From entrance doors alone, we have expanded our development to include complete entrance solutions – canopies, letterboxes, LED lighting, house numbers, stand-alone windows and other features that together create a cohesive entrance to the home.
Smart door upgrades
As technology has evolved, we have upgraded our doors with smart solutions such as the Inosmart smart unlocking system, offering greater convenience, improved security and ease of use.
Environmental and community responsibility
As the company has grown, we have also taken on greater responsibility for the environment and the community. Through investment in sustainable processes, support for local projects and sponsoring athletes, we actively give back to society.

Today, through its production, expertise and network of partners, Inotherm creates entrance doors trusted by more than half a million homes. Each year, more than 44,000 doors are produced and delivered to numerous countries across Europe and the Middle East.

FOCUSED ON THE FUTURE
Inotherm remains focused on the future. We are entering a new era with a vision of becoming a one-stop shop for doors and windows for the home.
We are expanding our range with Vision aluminium windows, developed in-house, with lift-and-slide doors to follow in the next phase. At the same time, we continue to invest in the development and expansion of our production capacities, while strengthening our presence and partner network despite challenging market conditions.
In doing so, we remain true to the vision established by Anton and Verica Šenk: to create high-quality solutions for the home, tailored to the people who live in it.
